General

Quotes, timing & warranty

Yes. Automotive quotes are provided by phone or text, and residential and commercial projects receive a free on-site assessment with a detailed written proposal. Call 667-438-7433 or use the quote form to get started.

Automotive quotes are exact once we confirm your vehicle’s year, make, model, and coverage area, the price you receive is the price you pay. Residential and commercial estimates are preliminary until a technician measures your glass on site, after which you receive a fixed written proposal.

Most vehicles are completed in two to four hours. Residential projects typically take half a day to a full day depending on the number and size of windows. Commercial installations are scheduled around your business hours, often overnight or on weekends.

All of our films carry a manufacturer warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and color change, and lifetime warranties are available on premium automotive films. Our installation workmanship is also guaranteed.

Absolutely. We professionally remove old, purple, or bubbling film and prepare the glass for a new installation. Removal is included with most re-tint projects.

Yes. By blocking infrared heat before it enters the space, quality film reduces cooling loads on sun-facing glass. Commercial clients commonly see reduced peak HVAC demand, and homeowners notice more consistent room-to-room temperatures.

SUV with legal rear window tint in Maryland

Maryland law requires at least 35% visible light transmission (VLT) on front side windows, rear side windows, and the rear windshield for sedans, with a non-reflective strip allowed above the AS-1 line on the front windshield. SUVs, trucks, and vans may go darker on windows behind the driver.

Dyed film is the most affordable but fades over time and offers minimal heat rejection. Carbon film is color-stable and blocks a meaningful amount of infrared heat. Nano-ceramic film delivers the highest heat rejection and clarity without interfering with phone, GPS, or radio signals. We will recommend the right tier for your budget and goals.

Please leave your windows up for three to five days after installation so the film can fully cure. A slight haze or small water pockets are normal during this period and will disappear as the moisture evaporates.

Most vehicles are completed in two to four hours depending on the number of windows and whether old film must be removed. You are welcome to wait in our climate-controlled lounge, or we can text you the moment your vehicle is ready.

Maryland Window Tint Law

Sedan side window tint within Maryland window tint law limits

Maryland window tint law requires aftermarket tint to let at least 35 percent of visible light through. On sedans, coupes, convertibles and station wagons, that applies to every side window and the rear window. The details follow Maryland State Police guidance.

Only on the windows behind the driver of SUVs, vans and light trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or less. On a sedan or coupe, and on the front door windows of every vehicle, 20 percent is too dark under Maryland law.

Only above the AS1 line or within the top 5 inches of the windshield, whichever is less.

Red, yellow and amber tint is not allowed on any vehicle, and neither is sparkling or reflective tint.

Yes. A vehicle owner who must be protected from the sun for medical reasons can use darker tint with a written certification from a licensed physician, in the format the Maryland State Police require, kept in the vehicle.

An officer can issue a safety equipment repair order to remove the illegal tint, and illegal tint can bring a $70 fine. We check the legal shade for your vehicle before we install any film.

Modern home with spectrally selective window film

Not necessarily. Spectrally selective films reject up to 84% of solar heat while remaining nearly invisible, so you keep natural light and outdoor views. If you want privacy or a decorative look, we also offer frosted, tinted, and reflective options.

No. Our residential films are IGCC-compliant and dual-pane seal safe when the correct film is matched to your glass. We document the glass type and provide a written film-to-glass compatibility statement with every installation.

Yes. Plants use visible light for photosynthesis, and spectrally selective films keep up to 70% of it while blocking heat and UV. Most homeowners report healthier plants because leaves no longer scorch in direct afternoon sun.

Wait 30 days for the film to fully cure, then clean with a soft microfiber cloth and any ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads or razor blades on the film side of the glass.

Not with the right film. Neutral spectrally selective films are virtually invisible, and even our privacy shades are engineered to cut glare and heat while leaving rooms bright and true to color.

Architectural films are rated for 15+ years and carry a manufacturer lifetime residential warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and discoloration, plus our own workmanship guarantee.

Yes. Residential and commercial projects begin with a free on-site assessment where we measure the glass, evaluate sun exposure, and apply sample swatches so you can see the real result. You then receive a detailed written proposal within 24 to 48 hours.
