Why Paliroc
When you call, you speak with the people who do the work, and the same team stands behind it afterward.
We check Maryland tint rules for your exact vehicle type before we recommend a shade, so you can drive without worrying about a tint citation.
A Google reviewer from the Woodlawn and Catonsville area said most shops were afraid to touch his 2022 Tesla Model 3, and his tint came out exactly as he wanted.
A business owner had our installer Abdullah tint many trucks for his company and recommends Paliroc for fleet work.
Car quotes come by phone or text once we know the year, make and model. Homes and businesses get a free on site assessment and a written proposal.
In Maryland, aftermarket tint must let at least 35 percent of visible light through the glass. On a passenger car, such as a sedan, coupe, convertible or station wagon, that rule covers every side window and the rear window. On SUVs, vans and trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or less, it covers only the driver and front passenger windows, so the windows behind the driver can go darker.
Based on Maryland State Police vehicle equipment guidance and Maryland law as updated on October 1, 2025.
Home window film cuts heat and glare, helps protect floors and furniture from sun fading and adds daytime privacy without replacing your windows. We visit your home, measure the glass and show you samples before you decide.

Talk about quality service. A gem for tinting in Woodlawn/catonsville area. The work came out perfect and exactly what I wanted. Customer service was second to none. Straight answers about Maryland tint law, film types, timing and cost.
35 percent is the darkest legal shade for every side and rear window on a car, and for the front door windows on SUVs, vans and light trucks. Windows behind the driver on those vehicles can be any darkness, but red, yellow, amber, sparkling and reflective tints are not allowed on any window.
Not on a passenger car such as a sedan or coupe, where every tinted window must let through at least 35 percent of light. On an SUV, van or light truck, 20 percent is legal on the windows behind the driver but not on the front doors.
Yes. Window film can block up to 99.9 percent of UV radiation, according to The Skin Cancer Foundation. That protects your skin and slows fading of seats, dashboards, floors and furniture.
For drivers who sit in summer traffic, usually yes. Ceramic film rejects more heat than dyed film at the same shade, does not fade to purple and does not interfere with phone, GPS or radio signals. Carbon film is a lower cost option that still holds its color.
Most vehicles take two to four hours. Homes usually take half a day to a full day, depending on the number and size of the windows. Commercial jobs are scheduled around your business hours.
Keep the windows up for three to five days so the film can cure. A light haze or small water pockets are normal at first and clear as the moisture dries.
The price depends on the vehicle, the film and how many windows you tint. Send your year, make and model for an exact car quote by phone or text. Home and business prices come in a written proposal after a free on site measurement.
